1. About UrgentCrew

UrgentCrew Limited ("UrgentCrew", "we", "us") operates an online platform connecting skilled trade workers with clients requiring construction and trade services in New Zealand. By registering as a Tradesperson, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• You must hold valid New Zealand work rights (citizen, resident, or valid work visa).
• You must hold all required licences and registrations for the trade(s) you list (e.g. LBP, EWRB, PGDB where applicable).
• You must maintain current public liability insurance appropriate to your trade throughout your use of the platform.

3. Your Obligations

• Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile at all times.
• Notify UrgentCrew immediately if any licence, registration, or insurance lapses or is suspended.
• Attend all confirmed jobs at the agreed time. Failure to attend without at least 2 hours' prior notice constitutes a no-show.
• Carry out all work to a professional standard consistent with NZ industry norms and the Building Act 2004 and Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
• Not solicit clients to pay outside the UrgentCrew platform for jobs introduced through UrgentCrew.

4. No-Show Policy

A confirmed no-show will result in: (1) a Trust Score deduction of 30 points; (2) a 7-day platform suspension. Three no-shows within any 12-month period will result in permanent removal from the platform.

5. Quality & Dispute Resolution

If a client reports unsatisfactory work within 48 hours of completion, UrgentCrew will notify you and allow 24 hours to respond. UrgentCrew may require you to remedy the work at no cost, issue a partial refund to the client, or suspend your account pending investigation.

6. Fees & Payment

• Registration is free.
• UrgentCrew charges a platform fee on each completed job. The current fee schedule is displayed on the platform and may be updated with 14 days' notice.
• Payment is released to you within 48 hours of the client confirming job completion, subject to no active dispute.
• In the event of a dispute, payment may be withheld until resolution.

7. Trust Score

UrgentCrew maintains a Trust Score for each Tradesperson based on completion rate, client reviews, response time, verifications, and platform tenure. UrgentCrew reserves the right to restrict visibility or suspend accounts where scores fall below acceptable thresholds.

8. Account Suspension & Termination

UrgentCrew may suspend or permanently remove your account for repeated no-shows, fraudulent profile information, abusive behaviour, off-platform payments, or any other material breach of these Terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

UrgentCrew is a marketplace platform and is not party to the contract between you and the client. UrgentCrew's liability is limited to platform fees paid in the 30 days preceding any claim. UrgentCrew is not liable for loss of income, property damage, or any indirect or consequential loss.

10. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. By registering, you consent to UrgentCrew verifying your licences against public registers and sharing your profile with potential clients.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

12. Changes to Terms

UrgentCrew may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

1. About UrgentCrew

UrgentCrew Limited ("UrgentCrew", "we", "us") operates an online marketplace connecting clients with verified trade workers in New Zealand. By posting a job or engaging a Tradesperson through UrgentCrew, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. The Platform's Role

UrgentCrew is a marketplace facilitator only. The contract for trade services is between you and the Tradesperson. UrgentCrew is not party to that contract and does not employ Tradespeople. UrgentCrew facilitates introductions, supports the booking process, and provides dispute assistance where possible.

3. Your Obligations

• Provide accurate job descriptions, locations, and access arrangements.
• Ensure the site is safe and accessible for the Tradesperson at the agreed time.
• Pay for completed work promptly through the UrgentCrew platform. Off-platform payments are a breach of these Terms.
• Treat Tradespeople with respect. Aggressive or abusive behaviour may result in removal from the platform.
• Not engage a Tradesperson introduced through UrgentCrew outside the platform for 12 months after the last completed job, without UrgentCrew's written consent.

4. Verification Disclaimer

UrgentCrew takes reasonable steps to verify Tradesperson licences against public registers. However, UrgentCrew does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any verification. You are encouraged to independently verify credentials for high-value or high-risk work.

5. Pricing & Payment

• Job posting is free. You pay only when a match is confirmed.
• A platform fee is included in the total shown at checkout.
• Payment is processed securely through Stripe. UrgentCrew does not store card details.
• Funds are released to the Tradesperson 48 hours after you confirm completion, unless a dispute is raised.

6. Cancellation Policy

• More than 24 hours before start: full refund.
• 2–24 hours before start: 50% cancellation fee applies.
• Less than 2 hours before start or no site access on the day: full job fee may be charged.

7. Quality Guarantee & Disputes

If you are unsatisfied with the quality of work, notify UrgentCrew within 48 hours of completion with photographic evidence. UrgentCrew will review and may facilitate a remedy, partial refund, or full refund at its discretion. UrgentCrew's decision is final for platform-mediated disputes.

8. Tradesperson No-Show

If a Tradesperson fails to attend without reasonable notice, UrgentCrew will use best efforts to find a replacement within 2 hours. You will not be charged for a confirmed no-show. UrgentCrew is not liable for any consequential loss arising from a no-show.

9. Limitation of Liability

UrgentCrew's total liability is limited to the platform fees paid for the relevant job. UrgentCrew is not liable for property damage, personal injury, economic loss, or any indirect or consequential loss. Tradespeople are independently responsible for their work quality.

10. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. By posting a job, you consent to your contact details being shared with matched Tradespeople for the purposes of completing the job.

11. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where applicable.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

13. Changes to Terms

UrgentCrew may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
